Corte Madera Man Found Dead After Watching TV
Arthur F. McGeorge of Corte Madera was watching television at his home last night when he died suddenly, friends of the family have reported.
McGeorge, who has made his home at 104 Willow Avenue for the past two years, was the assistant director of military passenger transport service at Fort Mason.
He served with the Navy during World War II and was a commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
McGeorge was 52, and friends said he was known to have suffered from a heart ailment. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Edna McGeorge; mother and father, Mrs. George Rowe and Lewis McGeorge; and nieces and nephews, Mrs. Caroline Dunford, John and David McGeorge.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from Keaton's, San Rafael. Burial will be at Mt. Tamalpais cemetery.
