Deck Hand Dies On Board Schooner
When Captain Lorentzen, of the motor schooner Ellen, taking sand and gravel to Pinole from this port, pulled out of the canal Wednesday morning, he tried to awaken John H. Olsen, a deck hand, but found that Olsen was dead.
Coroner J. Ray Keaton was called and took charge of the corpse. It is thought the man died from heart trouble. He had lived on the boat for several years. He leaves a daughter, Eunice Morano, 210 Vienna street, San Francisco.
