Government Chemist Dies in Mill Valley

Ill for an extended period with a heart ailment, Duroc Albert Jecker, 31, U. S. government junior chemist and resident of Mill Valley for the past four years, died yesterday at his Mill Valley home. Jecker is mourned by his widow, Mrs. Winifred M. Jecker; a small daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jecker; and his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Lannes I. Jecker of Los Angeles.

A native of Texas, Jecker was a graduate of California Institute of Technology and was a member of the Caltech Alumni Association and Marin Historical Society. The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the chapel of Robert F. Russell & Co., Mill Valley. Interment will follow in Fernwood Cemetery.
