CHARLES JONES

Funeral was held today in Santa Rosa for Charles R. Jones, father of Edwin C. Jones of Fairfax.

Jones, 75, died in a Sonoma hospital after a lengthy illness.

A native of Knoxville, Tenn., he was a metal molder for 50 years and a past president of the International Metal Molders and Allied Workers Union, Local 161, San Francisco.

He is survived by his wife, Maude E. Jones, of El Verano; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Olson of Sonoma, and Mrs. Ray Jensen of Fremont; another son, Robert A. Jones of San Jose, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Private inurnment was at Chapel of the Chimes, Santa Rosa.
