JANICE MANN
Janice M. Mann of San Rafael died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. A native of San Rafael, she spent her entire life in Marin.
She was an avid baseball fan and expert bowler.
She had been married 32 years to Walter (Hank) Mann, employed at the Lucas Valley Dairy in San Rafael.
One of a family of seven sisters, she leaves, besides her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Prescott, residents of San Rafael since 1901; two sons, William Mann of San Anselmo and James Mann of San Rafael; six sisters, Mrs. Claire S. Rake and Margery Prescott of San Rafael, Mrs. Anna Marie Sherman of Fairfax, Mrs. Valerie Orchard of Novato, Mrs. Nona Tilley of La Canada, and Mrs. Dorothy Ridgeway of Santa Rosa, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin 9:15 a.m. Friday from Keaton’s to St. Raphael’s church where at 9:30 a.m. a Requiem High Mass will be offered. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
A Rosary will be recited 8 p.m. tomorrow in Keaton’s Chapel. Friends may call at Keaton’s today.

MANN - In San Rafael, May 28, 1962, Janice M. Mann, adored wife of Walter (Hank) Mann, loving mother of William and James Mann and Mrs. Geraldine Peterson, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy M. Prescott, beloved sister of Mrs. Claire S. Rake, Margaret Prescott, Mrs. Nona Tilley, Mrs. Anna Marie Sherman, Mrs. Valerie Orchard and Mrs. Dorothy Ridgeway, a native of California, aged 50.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Friday, June 1, 9:15 a.m. from Keaton's thence to St. Raphael's church where at 9:30 a.m. a Requiem High Mass will be offered for the repose of her soul. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. Recitation of the Rosary 8 p.m. Thursday, Keaton's Chapel. Friends may call at Keaton's after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
