Painter Killed In 50 Foot Fall At Local Ship Yards

A fall of fifty feet into the water of Richardson bay brought death early this morning to Florindo J. Mangini, 46, painter at Marinship.

Just fifteen minutes before he was to go off shift at 12:30 a.m. this morning, Mangini slipped from the scaffold on which he was working and hurtled into the waters of the Bay striking a log. His death a few minutes later was reported as from internal injuries and a possible spinal break.
