Lars Olsen Nielsen Dies At Age 97

Lars Olsen Nielsen, a retired carpenter, died yesterday at his home at 52 Princess street, Sausalito, three years short of the century mark.

Nielsen was born 97 years ago in Denmark. He came to the United States, and Marin County, 18 years ago, after his retirement. He made his home in Sausalito with Dr. C. F. Larsen, a nephew.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that he was also the uncle of A. W. Larsen of Menlo Park.
