Madeline W. MacDonald
Died peacefully at her home in San Rafael, California on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at the age of 91. Born in Colusa, California, September 1, 1911, she grew up in Colusa, Williams and Piedmont, California. She spent the majority of her working life with the former Dorn Investment Co. of San Francisco.
She was a member of the Junior League, the Society of Mayflower Descendants, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Meadow Club and DeAnza Country Club. She and her late husband, Joshua, traveled extensively during the 70's and 80's and were avid golfers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joshua MacDonald in 1992. She is survived by her son, Robert Kelly of San Francisco, granddaughter, Deirdre Kelly, of Walnut Creek, grandson Cabot Kelly of San Francisco, stepson Joshua MacDonald, Jr. of Vallejo, and numerous friends and acquaintances who will miss her enthusiasm, love of life and people.
She leaves a legacy of brightening the lives of all with whom she came in contact and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 9th at Monte's Chapel of the Hills, 330 Red Hill Avenue, San Anselmo, California.
