FRANCES ANDERSON
Former Mill Valley resident

An Eastern Star memorial service will be held for Frances S. Anderson tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Mill Valley.

She died May 1 after a short illness at t he Friendship Manor Convalescent Home in National City. She was 98.

She was born in Iowa and lived for years in Mill Valley. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star. In 1980, she moved to San Diego to be closer to her family.

Both of her husbands, James Orrin Anderson and Bruce Mills, died previously.

She is survived by a grandson, Robert Blanchard of San Diego, two granddaughters, Susan Lively and Dianne Garcia, both of San Diego, and five great-grandchildren.

She will be buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery.
