PETER VALCONESI

Requiem Mass has been offered for Peter Valconesi of St. Charles Road, Lagunitas, at St. Peter and Paul’s Church in San Francisco.

A resident of Marin County for 30 years, he died Feb. 19 at a local hospital following a long illness.

Valconesi was a retired grocery store owner who moved to San Francisco from Italy more than 60 years ago.

He is survived by a son, Edward Calconesi (sic) and a daughter, Norma Filipelli, both of San Francisco.

He is also survived by a sister (sic), August Valconesi of San Francisco; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Entombment was at Italian Cemetery, San Francisco.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds information: he was the husband of the late Lena Valconesi and father of the late Raymond Valconesi; father-in-law of Mrs. Mary Valconesi and the late Albert B. Filipelli; brother of August Valconesi; grandfather of Mrs. Beverly Migale, Albert P. Filipelli, Mrs. Norene Tombussi, Peter J. and Raymond Valconesi.
