Nels Madsen Dies

Nels Madsen, head gardener at the Gerstle residence, died Wednesday afternoon very suddenly. He had received orders for some work and was apparently well up to within a half hour of his death. Mr. Madsen had been a resident of San Rafael for many years, and with his family made their home on Clorinda avenue. He was 48 years of age.

Deceased leaves a widow and six children. Funeral services will be held this morning from the residence, with Rev. Hensel of the German Lutheran church officiating. Interment will be made in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
