Patricia I. Sheehy
Passed away in Sonoma, California on February 3, 2002 with her family by her side. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, March 18, 1931, and raised in Louisiana and Texas. She was a resident of Marin and Sonoma Counties for 43 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mollie Smith, her husband William Francis Sheehy and her brother, Ronald J. Smith. She is survived by her five daughters, Catherine Cunningham Wright (Michael), Elizabeth Ann Cahill (James), Margaret Isabelle Mayer (Daniel), Maureen Frances Linde (Erik), and Patricia Eileen Davis (Mark), as well as her "grandbabies" Gavin, Haley, and Mackenzie Cahill, Zachary and Isabella Mayer, Danika, Julia and Ian Linde and Karlie, Kendall and Colton Davis; her step grandchildren Christie Stranzl, Stephen, James and Nicholas Wright. Her sister and brother-in-law Trudy and Cal Buck of Jacksonville, Florida and sister-in-law Jan Smith of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and her nieces and nephew.
She was a longtime employee of Novato Community Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing and reading. She loved Texas and was the #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She was humorous, feisty and very dignified. She always put her family first and was most proud of her "five girls". She will be dearly missed.

Friends and family are invited to the Funeral Mass on Friday, February 8, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretta Catholic Church, 1806 Novato Blvd., Novato. Services are under the direction of the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Magnolia Avenue & Keokuk Street, Petaluma, California. Private Interment: Valley Memorial Park, Novato, California.
