Mark was born on February 28th, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from New Trier High School and went on to serve in the United States Army in Vietnam. Mark moved to Marin County in the early 1970's, where he nurtured his musical career and made many friends. He was a talented musician who played guitar, sang, produced and wrote music. Mark's career included touring in "The New Christy Minstrels", producing an album for Tom Fogerty, and co-founding "Giant Steps", a non-profit organization helping persons with disabilities in the music industry. Mark was known for his sweet high-octave voice and bright dimpled smile. Mark had a gentle and loving way, his spirit was always full of light and heart. We deeply mourn the passing of this kind and gentle man.
