ENARD LUNDQUIST

Enard T. Lundquist, 71-year-old retired San Anselmo floor coverer, died yesterday in Ross Hospital.

Lundquist, who was found unconscious on the driveway of his home at 69 Tamalpais Avenue on Nov. 20, died without regaining consciousness, according to the coroner’s office. Death was apparently due to natural causes, the coroner’s office said, but an autopsy will be performed.

Lundquist, a native of Duluth, Minn., had lived in Marin since 1931. For a number of years he had his own floor covering business in San Anselmo, but in 1945 he went to work for the J. B. Rice Co. in San Rafael. He retired in 1958.

He served with the Marines in World War I and was a member of San Anselmo Post No. 179, American Legion, and the Marines Memorial Association of San Francisco.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters, Mrs. Leatrice Sullivan of Natick, Mass., and Carol Lundquist of San Anselmo; two sisters, Ethel Lundquist and Mrs. Lillian Willhoite, both of Duluth, Mich. [sic]; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Burial will be private.

The family prefers memorial gifts to the Hannah Boys Center, Sonoma.
