GARNETT MOORE

Garnett W. (Jerry) Moore, 57, of 700 Del Mar Avenue, Novato, a retired warehouseman, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.

Moore was born in Shattuck, Okla., and came to California 42 years ago. He lived in Los Angeles until 1946, when he moved to Novato. He was a warehouseman for Dairymen’s Milling Co. in Novato until ill health caused his retirement in 1966.

Moore was a member of Novato Grove 113 of United and Ancient Order of Druids, a member of the Novato Moose Lodge and a retired member of the Teamster’s Union Local 24.

A Druid’s memorial service will be at 8 p.m. today at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home in Novato. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Redwood Chapel. Burial will be in Marin Memorial Gardens in Novato.
