ROY W. NELSON SR.

A private family funeral for Roy W. Nelson Sr. of San Rafael will be held Thursday in Tacoma, Wash.

Nelson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was 90.

He was born in North Dakota but lived most of his life in Seattle, where he was a private investigator. He moved to San Rafael four years ago to be with his daughter, Ruth Parrott.

He is survived by Mrs. Parrott; his son, Roy W. Nelson Jr. of Seattle; and five grandchildren.

Burial will be in Old Tacoma Cemetery.
