LAMOIN S. NEW
Requiem Mass for Llamoin S. New of San Francisco, formerly of San Rafael, will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Raphael’s Church, San Rafael. Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
Rosary will be recited 8 p.m. Sunday at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael, and friends may call after noon tomorrow.
Mrs. New, 73, died Wednesday in her San Francisco home after an illness.
A native of St. Johnsville, N.Y., she lived in Marin from 1925 until four years ago, when her husband, Ralph, died. Since then, she has lived in San Francisco with a daughter, Mrs. Helen Groswird.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Fern Peters of Randall, N.Y.; a brother, William McMahon of St. Johnsville; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Her late husband was a toll collector on the Golden Gate Bridge for 22 years before his death, and before joining the bridge was a guard at San Quentin Prison.
