Margaret F. Phillips

Funeral services for Margaret F. Phillips of Mill Valley will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.

Mrs. Phillips died at home on Sunday after a long illness. She was 71.

She was born in Decatur, Ill. She was a homemaker. She had lived in Mill Valley off and on since 1954.

Her husband, Ralph M. Phillips, is a federal highway engineer.

Other survivors are two daughters, Sharon J. Phillips of Mill Valley and Serena J. Henriod of San Jose, and three grandchildren.

Entombment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. Visitation will be held after noon on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

The family prefers memorial gifts to the Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, Suite No. 6, San Rafael.
