CAROLINE B. PHILLIPS

Caroline B. Phillips of Gridley, Butte County, and formerly of Marin, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1990 at a hospital in Gridley. She was 85.

Mrs. Phillips, a native of Clinton, La., lived in Ross for 20 years before moving to Gridley 16 years ago.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gridley, Sacred Heart Altar Society and the National Woodman’s circle.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband, Leonard Phillips of Gridley; a son, Hugo Phillips of San Rafael; two daughters, Patricia Berryman of Martinez and Katherine Eck of San Jose; a brother, Adam Berger of Clinton, La.; a sister, Gertrude McCann of Colorado; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services have been held.
