MRS. SANDELL

Amelia J. (Minnie) Sandell, mother of Velita Ott of Bolinas, died yesterday at a local convalescent hospital after along illness. She was 90.

Born in San Francisco, she lived there until two years ago when she moved to a Marin convalescent hospital.

Mrs. Sandell was on the first all female jury in San Francisco in 1918. She also survived the earthquake of 1906 while living in the Sunset District.

She was the oldest member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church of San Francisco. She also belonged to the Swedish Ladies Society of San Francisco.

Also surviving are a grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Gantner-Felder-Kenny Chapel in San Francisco followed by private interment.

A Death Notice in the same paper states that she was the wife of the late John August Sandell, and grandmother of Kenneth J. Ott.
