Dr. L. L. Stanley’s Wife Dies from Chronic Ailment
After being an invalid for the past thirteen years, during which period she suffered from a chronic heart ailment, Mrs. L. L. Stanley, wife of Dr. L. L. Stanley, medical superintendent at the San Quentin Prison, died Sunday, at the Stanford hospital, San Francisco, where she has been for some months.
She was 37 years of age, and a native of San Francisco. She is survived by a brother, W. E. A. Woods of Dallas, Texas; and two sisters, Eugenie Woods of San Diego, and Mrs. Frank Duffy of San Francisco.
Funeral services were held in San Francisco Tuesday, and the body was cremated.
Dr. Stanley and his wife, for the past three years, have been residing on Fifth street, San Rafael.
