CHARLES RIDENOUR

Funeral for Charles E. Ridenour, retired San Francisco attorney who was active in art circles in Mendocino County, was held today from Cannarr-Fairlee Funeral Home, Fort Bragg. Inurnment followed at Chapel of the Chimes, Santa Rosa.

Ridenour, 70, collapsed and died Tuesday, apparently of a heart attack, while visiting friends in San Francisco.

He and his wife, Dorthea, were in the Bay Area for a showing of Mrs. Ridenour’s batik work at Peacock Gap Country Club, San Rafael.

Ridenour was president of the Mendocino County Art Association. He started painting about a year ago and had shown in the Mendocino area.

A native of Pennsylvania, he moved from San Francisco to Mendocino about three years ago.
