Aged Tomales Man Commits Suicide

Henry Linderman, Sr., an aged rancher of Tomales, was found dead on the shore of Tomales bay three miles from his home last Friday afternoon after he had been missing for two days.

The body was discovered by Frank L. Jensen, who formed one of a large party of searchers which had scoured the hills and the bay shore for 48 hours. Linderman left his home about 10 o’clock Wednesday, and was not seen by anybody until the body was found.

Coroner J. R. Keaton went to Tomales Friday night and held an inquest over the remains at Jorgen Jensen’s funeral parlors. The verdict of the jury was that the deceased came to his death by suicide while temporarily insane. He was 84 years of age and had lived in Tomales for nearly half a century.

The deceased owned considerable property, and is survived by two sons, Fred and Henry, and a daughter, Julia Linderman. His wife died about two years ago.
