She is survived by her husband of 33 years, William Boyer Scrimgeour Jr. of San Rafael, CA; her daughter, Elisa Karen Warford of Woodland, CA; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Wendy and Steve Cooper of Sacramento and Shelley and Robert Day of Woodland, CA; nine great-grandchildren, Jason and Andrew Hall, Erica and Jacklyn Roach, Adrienne, Kristina, Jennifer and Brendan Day and Cody Cooper; sister and brother-in-law, Bethel "Betsy" and Pete Cunningham of Monte Sereno, CA; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Tom and Anita Scrimgeour of Yuba City; sister-in-law, Barbara Scrimgeour Hamilton of Galveston, Texas; nieces, nephews and their families; and her much-adored cats, Elizabeth and Tiger Boy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Alla Dexter, brothers, William and Robert Dexter, sister, Marjorie Stanley, stepson, Brad Scrimgeour, and stepdaughter, Candace Glenn. There will be a private Celebration of her life held in August. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA.
