Sylvester Ritter
Sylvester Joseph Ritter, 46-year-old San Anselmo carpenter, died in his home at 10 Deer Park avenue yesterday morning. He had lived in Marin for around 12 years and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, San Anselmo Lodge No. 744.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys T. Ritter; sons, Daniel and David Ritter; mother, Catherine Ritter of El Cerito; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Christina Jourdain; Sister Mary Regina of the Convent of Poor Clares of Los Altos; and Eugene, Harvey, Lloyd, Marvin and Clifford Riter (sic). He was a native of South Dakota.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the chapel of Guy W. Jenness and company, San Anselmo, thence to St. Anselm’s church for a Requiem Mass. Rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Jenness chapel. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery, San Pablo.
