Dr. Richards Passes Away
Dr. Charles Wesley Richards, a prominent San Francisco dentist and a well known and devoted resident of Sausalito, quietly passed away in San Francisco on Monday after a year’s illness which was aggravated by a cold contracted while hunting in Mendocino county last year. His death, while not unexpected, was a severe shock to those that knew him. The funeral services were private, and were held in Gray’s undertaking parlors on Thursday and the remains were cremated.
He was a native of Ohio aged 60 years, was the brother of Mrs. W. S. Johnson, Mrs. Ida Everitt and Miss T. E. Richards. He was a Knight Templar. He became a resident of Sausalito about ten years ago and took great pleasure in horseback riding and every year spent a couple of months hunting and fishing with friends in the wilds of Mendocino and Trinity counties. He always had a pleasant word for every one and took pleasure in rendering assistance financially and professionally to many.
