J. L. SCAMPINI

Josephine L. Scampini of South San Francisco, mother of Herman P. Scampini Jr. and Joanne Scampini of San Rafael, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital.

Mrs. Scampini, a housewife, was the wife of Herman Scampini, a retired steelworker. She was 74.

She was a native of longtime resident of South San Francisco.

Surviving, besides her husband and two children in San Rafael, are a daughter, Lois Scampino (sic) of San Mateo; a sister, Caroline Regalia of San Anselmo; and a brother, Alfred Pinzi (?) of Crockett.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at All Souls Catholic Church, South San Francisco. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Nauman and Lincoln Mortuary, South San Francisco.
