Fred Goodear Passes Away

Fred Goodear, better known in Sausalito as “Cupey,” died last Thursday in Oakland as a result of a heart attack. He was a former owner of the Sausalito Hotel and partner of Marco Melovich.

Sausalitans who attended the services for him in Oakland were Fire Chief Matts Perry and his wife, Paul Jukich, Yates Hammett, Andy Brienholdt, Fred Rosa, “Cow John,” Marco Melovich and Gemma DeMartini.
