PETER S. CZEKALSKI

A Mass of Christian Burial for Peter S. Czekalski of Novato, a salesman with a Santa Rosa firm, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato.

Czekalski, 56, died Sunday in a local hospital after becoming ill unexpectedly at home.

A native of Pennsylvania, Czekalski had lived in Novato since 1963. Previously, he had lived in Colorado.

He was a salesman for the Yaeger & Kirk lumber firm in Santa Rosa.

Surviving are his wife, Rose Czekalski of Novato; his son, Robert Czekalski of Sacramento; two daughters, Janet Krolak of Petaluma and Ronnie Peterson of San Rafael; and two grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin Funeral Home in Novato. The family has asked that memorial gifts go to the Heart Fund.
