Katharyn Baldwin
Passed away peacefully at Rafael Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael on February 7th. She was 99 years old.
Katharyn was born in Portland, Maine in 1902. She came to Pasadena, California with her husband Marshall who attended Cal. Tech. They moved to the Bay Area in 1927.
During WWII, Katharyn was an active member of the Red Cross. She served as a Grey Lady with the wounded at Hamilton Field. She was a charter member of the Improvement Club. Katharyn and her husband Marshall were members of the Fairfax Meadow Club and also were avid bridge players, entering many tournaments.
Katharyn is survived by her daughter Frances West of San Rafael, granddaughters Valerie Baldwin of Portola Valley, Debra West of Lake Tahoe and four grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held for the family at the Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
