ETHEL BALLARD

Ethel Ballard, a seven-year resident of Marin County, will be buried Thursday in Laramie, Wyo.

Mrs. Ballard, 80(?,) died Sunday in a local hospital following a long illness.

Before her death, she had lived with her son, Nelson J. Ballard at 121 Jefferson Drive in Tiburon.

She was the wife of Dr. James A. Ballard, killed in World War I. For 20 years, she worked as a clerk for the Marshall Field and Co. department store in Chicago.

A native of Laramie, she spent 15 years in California, including several years in San Francisco as well as Marin.

Survivors include her son; a sister, Marjorie Cunningham of Milton, Mass.; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
