Services To Be Held for Mrs. Jane Bagshaw

Suddenly stricken at her home in Mill Valley on Tuesday, Mrs. Jane M. Bagshaw, 70 years of age, passed away at her home on Sunnyside Avenue yesterday morning. Mrs. Bagshaw was the widow of Thomas H. Bagshaw, who died several years ago.

She was the mother of four sons, Thomas Frederick, who is chairman of the Marin County Board of Supervisors, importer of San Francisco, and publisher of The Marin Journal, Samuel G., Sydney and John Bagshaw. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

A native of Cardiff, Wales, she and her husband came to Mill Valley 43 years ago, where they served the community honorably as exemplary citizens and parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Robert F. Russell Chapel in Mill Valley Saturday morning at 11 o’clock with the Rev. Lynn T. White officiating. Interment will be private.

The staff of The Marin Journal and numerous county friends share the grief of the Bagshaw family in their loss.
