MABEL FAIRE
Funeral was to be private for Mabel E. Faire, 78, a 15-year resident of Sausalito.
Mrs. Faire died unexpectedly Sunday morning at Marin General Hospital. According to the coroner’s office, she was admitted July 28 complaining of heart trouble.
Mrs. Faire had worked briefly in an antique shop in Sausalito and as a seamstress for a San Francisco bathing suit manufacturer.
Her first husband was the late Dr. Harry Demelle Williams, a San Francisco surgeon.
After his death, she married the late Herbert Faire, a mechanic who took her to Santa Cruz and then Sausalito. She lived at 533 1/2 Spring Street in Sausalito. She was a native of Santa Cruz.
She left no close relatives.
She had attended Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Sausalito.
Cremation was also to be private.
