Morris C. "Mo" Cervantes, Jr.
Our beloved Morris passed away on Sunday the 29th of September, unexpectedly. He was a native San Franciscan and graduate of Washington High. Devoted son of the late Morris C., Sr. and Guadalupe. Beloved husband and soulmate to Mary Lynne; cherished father of Michelle and adored grandfather of Mia Lani and Kaia Joy; father-in-law to Erik Matosich. Loving brother of Jim (Millie), Ben (Liz), and the late Betty Jean and Judy Lynn. Cherished brother-in-law to Steve (Debbie) Dells; Margo (Jimbo) Juarez, and Kathie Dells Urbiztondo; uncle to Loren, Jaime, Gina, Dusan Jr., Ari, Mahkai, Christian, Kevin, Sean, Stephanie, and Collette; and devoted son-in-law to Steve Dells. Morris is survived by many loving relatives and friends. Morris worked for Kaiser Permanente for almost 30 years. He was a member in good standing of Local #250 SEIU. He served as a Union Rep for the many employees of Kaiser throughout the Bay Area. Morris was often seen in the hallways of Kaiser San Rafael, patiently listening to grievances or just lending an ear. He was very generous, kind, and made people feel good. Morris was a friend to all. Friends may visit Sunday, October 6, 2002 after 2 PM and are invited to attend the Vigil at 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Mortuary of McAvoy O' Hara Co. Geary Blvd. at Tenth Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 7, 2002 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Apostle Church, 40th and Balboa St., San Francisco, CA. After Mass all are invited to the Church Hall for A Celebration of "Mo's" life. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Diabetes Association. McAVOY O'HARA CO.
