William L. Barngrover
Novato resident

William L. Barngrover of Novato died Thursday, Oct. 10, 1991 at Novato Community Hospital. He was 76.

He was born in Tualatin, Ore. He moved to California in 1964 and settled in Novato.

He worked as service manager for the tracker division of the Ford Motor Company in Oakland. He retired in the early 1980s.

Mr. Barngrover was active in Novato organizations, including Little League and Novato Junior Horsemen Program.

An avid horseman, he practiced cattle penning. He also enjoyed woodworking.

Mr. Barngrover is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Barngrover of Novato; two sons, Larry Barngrover of Elko, Nev., and Keith Barngrover of Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Vita Repcik of Fort Sheridan, Ill.; two sisters, Harriet Andrews of Eugene, Ore., and Rita Conover of Tualatin, Ore., and six grandchildren.

Memorial services are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Keaton's Redwood Chapel of Marin in Novato.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions be sent Novato Junior Horsemen, c/o Bank of the West, 1313 Grant Ave., Novato, 94947.
