ALWINE CIMA

Private funeral for Alwine Emily Cima, 67, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, a former Larkspur resident, was held Sunday in Bonners Ferry.

Mrs. Cima, a retired practical nurse, was killed Thursday in a head-on traffic crash in Bonners Ferry.

According to her daughter, Daine DeLorme MacMillan of Lucas Valley, a car traveling about 85 miles an hour on the wrong side of the road collided with Mrs. Cima’s car.

Mrs. Cima, widow of Victor Cima, a sales representative for a tile and Formica company in San Francisco, moved from Larkspur about nine years ago after living there about 15 to 18 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Larkspur.

She was born in Lima, Peru, daughter of a sea captain and was reared in San Francisco. She had been a resident of Bonners Ferry for about a year after living in Sacramento, where she was a practical nurse.

Surviving are a son, Robert B. Cima of El Dorado County; two daughters, Nancy Phillips of Bonners Ferry, and Mrs. MacMillen of Lucas Valley; a sister, Evelyn Shaw of Antioch.; a brother, Howard E. Monteeton of San Francisco; and seven grandchildren.

Burial was at Bonners Ferry. The family prefers that memorial contributions to be the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in San Francisco or a favorite charity.
