Fairfax Engineer Dies Of Heart Attack
A sudden heart attack proved fatal to William A. Burkholder, 64, of Fairfax, as he was about to board a bus in South San Francisco last night. He was en route to work in Lomita Park, San Mateo county, where he is employed as a civil engineer, when stricken.
A native of Kansas, Burkholder was a member of San Anselmo Post 179, American Legion. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael.
He leaves a wife, Clara T. Burkholder, and was the brother of Clarence R. Burkholder of McPherson, Kansas, Samuel R. Burkholder of Chicago, Theodore Burkholder of Boston, Mrs. Alice Allenson of San Diego, and Helen and Grace Burkholder of Cincinnati, Ohio.
