Fred P. Hoffmann Rites Tomorrow
Funeral services for Fred P. Hoffmann of 38 San Francisco boulevard, San Anselmo, will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Interment will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
Hoffman (sic) died unexpectedly at his home Saturday morning. He had been under medical care for a heart ailment for some time.
Born in San Francisco Sept. 21, 1897, he had been for 34 years with Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. and had lived at the same address in San Anselmo for 33 years.
He was an active member of the Marin Rod and Gun Club and for several years served as a cubmaster. He belonged to the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include a wife, Mrs. Anna F. Hoffmann; three children, Fred C. Hoffmann of San Rafael, Mrs. Lois A. Emery of Fairfax and Douglas H. Hoffmann of San Anselmo; a sister, Mrs. Mathilda Parker of Palo Alto, and five grandchildren.
The family requests that tributes be in the form of donations to the Heart Fund or some similar charity.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the grandfather of Douglas, Steven and Carol Emery and Stephen and Elizabeth Hoffmann.
