Sidney R. Gorman Jr. Dies At 45
Memorial service for Sidney R. (Rick) Gorman of Terra Linda will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Roller and Hatgood Mortuary, 980 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.
Gorman, 45, a San Francisco insurance underwriter, died Tuesday in a Mountain View hospital after a short illness. A native of Glendale, he had lived in Bayside Acres six years ago, moved to Palos Verdes and returned to Marin in 1968, when he was named a special agent with Argonaut Insurance Co.
He was a graduate of the University of Southern California, a Navy veteran and had 19 years’ experience in insurance.
He is survived by his wife, Sally, a son, Kenneth Gorman and a daughter, Susan Gorman, all of the family home at 617 Las Gallinas Avenue; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney R. Gorman Sr. of Aptos, Santa Cruz County; a brother, Wayne E. Gorman of Aptos, and two sisters, Constance Laing of Aptos and Helen Jones of Palo Alto.
The family prefers contributions to the donor’s favorite charity.
