HUGH LOGAN
Funeral services for Hugh B. Logan, 90, of Inverness, are pending at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Logan, a retired rancher and longtime resident of Inverness, died Thursday in a local hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Thursthaton, Cheshire County, England, and came to California in his 20s. He worked on ranches in San Joaquin Valley, and later was foreman of several ranches in Oregon and Cotati. In the early 1920s Logan retired to Inverness, where he did extensive gardening on his own land.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Madeline Logan of the family home; a son, Balfour J. Logan of Cordova, Alaska; two granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren.
