Marion Bellman, 20, Succumbs to Long Illness Sunday

Marion Virginia Bellman, 20, who studied so hard to receive her diploma from San Rafael High School in June, presented her specially by President N. Charles Brusatori, departed this life Sunday at the Marin County Hospital.

The young girl was of a very courageous and ambitious nature.

When stricken a year and a half ago, her main fear was she would not be able to continue her education. However, a special teacher, Miss Ruth turner, was appointed to teach the girl regularly at the farm, taking her work to the High School to be graded. In that way she fulfilled her four years and only this year received her diploma.

Miss Bellman suffered from an illness from which there was no relief. She was a native of Marin county and was the daughter of the late Eustace and Elvina Bellman, and only sister of Eustace, Jr., Lawrence, Raymond and Clarance Bellman, all of Marin.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday from the chapel of Blackburn and Sorensen, Petaluma. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, San Mateo County.
