MARGUERITE V. PRUETT
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marguerite V. Pruett of Stockton, a former Marin resident, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke’s Church in Stockton.
Mrs. Pruett died Tuesday in Stockton. She was 89.
She was born in Forestville and spent most of her life in San Francisco. Mrs. Pruett lived in Tiburon and Kentfield before moving to Stockton.
Her husband, Dr. John Floyd Pruett, died previously.
She is survived by two sons, the Rev. John M. Pruett of Stockton and Charles W. Pruett of Mill Valley; a sister, Yvonne Press of Richmond; a brother, Dr. Paul Lestrohan of San Francisco, and three grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke’s Church, 3924 N. Sutter St., Stockton. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton.
Burial will be at San Joaquin Cemetery in Stockton. The family prefers contributions be made to Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
