R. B. MOTHERWELL
Funeral services were held on Wednesday in San Francisco for R. B. Motherwell II of Novato, president for the past eight years of the Wells Fargo Bank and Union Trust Co., of S. F.
Motherwell, 58, died Monday following an illness which lasted for two months.
A former Federal Reserve Bank official both in San Francisco and Salt Lake City, Motherwell joined the staff of Wells Fargo organization in 1927 as vice president. His promotion in 1935 followed elevation of F. L. Lipman as chairman of the board.
He was a member of the Pacific Union Club, the S. F. Golf Club, an officer of the Leopold Order of the Crown of Belgium.
Surviving are his widow, Margaret; one son, Robert B. III; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Stuart Bosschart of San Francisco; and two grandsons, Lance and Christian Bosschart.
