George Baker Dies In Rest Home

Funeral services for George Baker, San Franciscan, who had a summer home in Larkspur for 30 years, will be held at Halsted and Co., San Francisco, tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. under auspices of Parnassus Lodge 330, Free and Accepted Masons. Burial will be private.

Baker, 84, made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Edith Berry, at 97 Spruce road, Fairfax, in recent years. He died Saturday in a local rest home, where he had been for two years.

He was manager of the Wells Fargo Express Co. office in San Francisco many years ago.

Baker spent 15 years in New York City, where he was office manager of a boiler treatment firm. He retired just before settling in Marin nine years ago.

He was a past master of the Parnassus lodge.

In addition to Mrs. Berry, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Ramona Trosper of San Francisco, and a son, George S. Baker of Walnut Creek; two brothers, A. H. Baker of Chicago and William R. Baker of San Francisco, and five grandchildren.
