EARL K. GRANT
Earl K. Grant, a retired handyman and Navy cook, was found dead in his Mill Valley home Saturday. He was 75.
According to Deputy Coroner Bill J. Thomas, Grant was found in the bathroom of his home at 3 Coronet Avenue by a friend. Death was apparently due to natural causes.
Grant was a native of Arkansas and a resident of California since 1912. He was a World War I veteran and served as a cook in the Navy for 20 years.
He moved to Marin County 35 years ago.
He is survived by his daughter, Marie Justiss of Fresno, and two grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
