CHARLES MAY
Funeral for Charles H. May of Martinez, father of Charles H. May Jr. of Mill Valley, will be held tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. in the Trinity Baptist Church in Concord.
May died Saturday in a Walnut Creek hospital after a short illness. He was 47.
He was a native of San Francisco and a graduate of San Francisco State College.
He was a counselor for the John Swett Unified School District in Crockett and a lay minister in the Baptist Church.
He was a member and past president of the Brisbane Lions Club and a retired captain of the Brisbane Volunteer Fire Dept.
He is also survived by his wife, Helen; two other sons, Terry W. of Pacheco and David B. of Martinez; a brother, William C. May of Union City and a sister, Lucille Smith of Brisbane.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the John Swett memorial Fund, in Crockett.
