ELMER TOMBLINSON
Elmer H. Tomblinson of Greenbrae died Tuesday at Marin General Hospital after a long illness. He was 91.
A native of Guerneville, Tomblinson spent most of his life in Sonoma County. He moved to Greenbrae three years ago.
Tomblinson worked 38 years as a locomotive engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad.
He was member of World War I Veterans, Santa Rosa Barrecks, and the Shasta division of Locomotive Engineers.
His wife, Ima Tomblinson, died several years ago.
He is survived by a sister, Hazel Kimes of Healdsburg.
A private funeral will be held Thursday at Eggen and Lance Mortuary in Santa Rosa.
