JEAN KENNEDY CLAGHORN
A private family service has been held for Jean Kennedy Claghorn of Trinity County, who had lived in Marin for about 20 years.
Mrs. Claghorn died Tuesday at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 70.
She was a native of Nevada and moved to Berkeley as a child.
Mrs. Claghorn came to Marin County in the early 1950s and lived here until about 1972 when she moved to Trinity County.
She was a telephone operator at one time and was a homemaker.
She was married to Robert F. Claghorn, who died several years ago.
She is survived by two brothers, Patrick Kennedy of Richmond and Robert Kennedy of Malibu Hills, and a sister, Margaret Nissen, of Lafayette. The family prefers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
