Kin Of Marinite Dies On Visit
Funeral services for Mrs. Harold L. Mitchell, descendant of a pioneer California family and mother of Mrs. Charles Tesseyman of Belvedere, will be held Tuesday in Santa Barbara.
Mrs. Mitchell, who came to Belvedere eight days ago to visit her daughter, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. The 82-year-old native Californian is the daughter of the late Michael Fox, who came to Santa Barbara in 1850 from Ireland.
Keaton’s San Rafael, is handling the funeral arrangements which include services at the home of Mitchell Fox in Santa Barbara and a Requiem Mass in the Santa Barbara Mission.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by Mrs. Tesseyman, two sons, Lionel W. Mitchell of Lafayette and Joseph A. Mitchell of Madera, a sister, Miss Kate Fox of Santa Barbara, and a brother, Paul Fox of Santa Maria.
