Joaquin Amaral, Dead
Joaquin S. Amaral, a resident of Sausalito off and on for the past thirty-six years, was found dead in his bachelor home in North Sausalito this morning by Joe Rosa. Death is supposed to be from heart failure. Early Wednesday morning, not feeling well, he came down town to see a physician.
He was a native of Azore Islands, aged 68 years, and was the brother of Antone S. Amaral of Tiburon and Manuel S. Amaral of Monterey. He was a member of the I.D.E.S., a Portuguese benevolent society, and a member of Court Star of California, Ancient Order of Foresters. For the past few years he has been employed in the paint shop of the Northwestern Pacific shops here. Funeral will be held Monday and interment probably in an Oakland cemetery.
